How does a car power pump work
A car power pump refers to a component that helps improve and stabilize the performance of a car. The main function is to assist the driver in adjusting the direction of the car. Cars are equipped with power assist pumps, mainly including directional power assist pumps and brake vacuum power assist pumps.
Main working principle: When the car is turning, the torque (steering) sensor will "feel" the torque and intended direction of rotation of the steering wheel. These signals will be sent to the electronic control unit through the data bus. The electronic control unit will send action instructions to the motor controller based on the transmission torque, intended direction and other data signals, so that the motor will output the corresponding amount of rotational torque according to specific needs, thus generating power assisted steering. If it does not turn, this system will not work and will be in standby (sleep) state waiting to be called. Due to the working characteristics of electric power steering, you will feel that driving such a car provides a better sense of direction and is more stable at high speeds, as the saying goes, the direction does not drift. And because it doesn't work when it's not turning, it also saves energy to some extent. Generally, high-end cars use such power steering systems more frequently.
